VII All-Ukrainian / II International School on Methodological Experience “Development of Creative Potential of Secondary School Pupils in the System of Poly-Artistic Education” was held in Koblevo (Berezansky District, Mykolayivska Region) in June 2013. It functions within the framework of the All-Ukrainian experiment on the introduction of integrated courses “Art” and “Artistic Culture”.


  • Institute of Educational Problems of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (L.M. Masol, scientific supervisor, and I.D. Bekh, scientific consultant);
  • Institute of Innovative Technologies and Contents of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (E.V. Gaydamaka, coordinator of the organisational and methodological work, and Y.I. Zavalesky, consultant);
  • Mykolayiv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education (A.M. Stareva, principal, I.M. Belova, deputy principal, as well as L.S. Aristova, T.V. Kibalova and D.A. Krik, methodologists and coordinators).

Aims: to organise the creative co-working among scholars, methodologists and teachers-experimentalists with a view of improving their professional skills and enabling them to understand modern methodology of art pedagogy, theory of poly-artistic education, innovative artistic and pedagogical technologies, methodology of teaching the integrated courses in the context of the new state educational standards.

Fields and Forms of Work:

  • summarising the results of All-Ukrainian experiment “Art and Aesthetic Education and Upbringing of Secondary School Pupils during the Introduction of Integrated Courses «Art» and «Artistic Culture»”;
  • presentation of textbooks for the new programmes and integrative artistic and pedagogical technologies;
  • lectures, trainings and master classes given by the prominent Ukrainian and foreign scholars in the area of art pedagogy, and by the pioneer teachers;
  • collective inter-education during facilitated discussions and round tables;
  • stimulation of artistic and pedagogical self-education of methodologists and teachers-experimentalists, and distance education;
  • creation of educational resources (e.g. artistic media collections and research diagnostic methods);
  • examination of didactic and methodological materials.     


II International Methodological School included activities held in cooperation with the Institute of Art Education of the Russian Academy of Sciences (L.V. Shkolyar, principal) and Mykolayiv Specialised School “Academy of Children’s Creative Work” (A.D. Matveeva, principal):

  • XXIII international mobile exhibition of the creative art work of children, teenagers and young people from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan;
  • International festival of children’s creative work “Golden Stork” (Rybakovka, Berezansky District, Mykolayivska Region).
