Yerevan welcomes good friends...

Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, opened once again before its young guests the doors of the Chamber Music House after Komitas.

A traditional New Year's eve festive show-concert turned into a genuine artistic report of young performing musicians from regional music and fine arts schools to the Yerevan audience. It was also a yearly performance report of their teachers and tutors from Yerevan- the employees of Fund for the Cultural Education Support.

For the majority of participants, the concert evening turned out just as successful as the traditional meeting-concert in the capital in 2017. The year 2017 was significant for the 9-year-old duduk performer Tatul Hambardzumyan, student of Charles Aznavour Metsamor School of Art of Armavir region. The sounds of his duduk apart of numerous recitals, done in Yerevan and all over Armenia, enchanted the audiences of Moscow, Washington and Vienna. Many of Tatul's peers, who came to perform in this concert from various regions of the country, were laureates of honorary republican and international contests and festivals.

Specialists noted with particular pleasure the high level of preparedness of young artists, appreciating and encouraging each performance with loud applause. A festive Christmas mood was all over the hall. And the final song performed by the young soloist Nelli Arakelyan and the children's choir sounded like a merry carol for the upcoming New year 2018.
