Long-awaited week

On the International Children's Day, an original exhibition was opened in the museum of the great Hovhannes Tumanyan. The best works of young artists - students of art and arts schools of the republic, were exhibited.  

 

The International week of Art Education ended with this exhibition. Within this week 35 targeted multi-oriented programs and events took place: master-classes, educational-methodical and practical programs, quizzes on theoretical subjects, festivals, children's musical productions, music and dance concert programs, exhibitions, presentation of the state donated music literature, etc.

The week started in the Chamber Music House with a concert of young musicians – performers, laureates of international and republican competitions.

One of the notable events held within the framework of this week was the open exhibition and a concert in the Conservatory garden near the monument to the great Komitas. The performances of the youth wind band and the sonorous voices of young artists recorded deeply in the memories of the citizens of Yerevan and its guests.

The joint concerts in the capital's music schools of the guests coming from various regions of Armenia gave a special joy to the audience, spectators and to the participants themselves.

The International week of art education has become a kind of final review of the programs implemented by the Cultural Education Support Fund with assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. The week once again showed the achievements of our country and the importance of the art education, as well as all the prerequisites aimed at development premise sphere, created and envisaged upon the programs of the government of Armenia, state bodies and public organizations.

In the period of 2012-2016, the huge number of events (almost 200), targeted multi-oriented programs, in which 8486 citizens took part, were implemented.
