Invitation to Master Classes

Invitation to Master Classes  In the period of April to June of the current year under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia the Fund for the Cultural Education Support is due to implement a program of “Master classes of visitor music tutors” for the talented young musicians.

Both for pupils and for the teachers of musical and art schools the project “Master classes of visitor music tutors” plays an important role in the musical educational process: new methods of teaching, exchange of tuition expertise, methodological and practical assistance, motivation of musical and performing art among youth, involving large number of participants.

Workshops are due to take place in the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas and in the public music schools after A. Spendiaryan and Sayat-Nova. On April the winner of numerous international competitions and festivals, soloist of Sankt-Petersburg’s “Mariinski Theatre”, honored artist of Russia clarinetist Victor Kulik held the workshop. As musician and soloist he performed in many countries, taught and held workshops in different educational centers of the world. It's worth noting that master classes for the young Armenian flute players held another honored Russian artist, winner of many international competitions and festivals, soloist of Sankt- Peterburg’s Mariinski Theatre flute player Maria Fedotova. At the conclusion of the workshop she performed a joint concert with the talented children.

The project involved workshops for the young Armenian hautboy players as well. It will conduct Associate Professor of the Moscow state Conservatory after P. Tchaikovsky oboist Philippe Nodel.
